Story
Meet Hanna. From her studio in Northern NSW, she is quietly launching a rebellion against the digital cloud, to hold on to the tradition of tangible memories.
A self-proclaimed “nana at heart,” Hanna has always chosen the tactile over the digital...
“I love anything in physical form, cards, postcards, hand written letters,” she says… “I love that a photo captures a moment in time, there isn’t anything [quite] like capturing a special moment that forever is in your heart, to then have in a physical form to look back on.”
Mems is not just a business model; it’s an extension of her childhood. Growing up in a bustling house of four siblings, Hanna says her family history was anchored by “drawers and drawers of albums.”
We live in an era where thousands of our most intimate moments sit forgotten in storage, trapped behind glass.
Screens can’t replicate the intimate, nostalgic gesture of passing an album around a living room.
By creating Mems, Hanna has refreshed this concept, keeping history in our hands and reminding us that traditions don’t have to be a thing of the past…
“This is why it’s so important to bring back the tradition of storing memories in a safe place… They are irreplaceable.”
